L'itinéraire
A compact loop around the Brocken, Germany's northernmost high mountain. East to the rock gorge of the Bodetal at Thale, across the high plateau to Braunlage, up to Torfhaus with its Brocken view, then down past the Oker reservoir to Bad Harzburg and back along the northern edge.

Trace ou itinéraire, comment le charger dans votre GPS

Comment l'utiliser sur votre navigateur:
- BMW Navigator / Garmin Zumo / zumo XT: importez en trace, puis Convert to Route (ou Trip Planner, nouveau trajet depuis la trace) si vous voulez le guidage virage par virage. Laissez Recalculation désactivé pour rester sur notre ligne.
- TomTom Rider: importez le GPX dans MyDrive, il se charge comme trace ou itinéraire. Activez Follow the exact route pour éviter tout recalcul.
- Calimoto: ouvrez le GPX et choisissez Import as tour, Calimoto suit la ligne de la trace.
- Kurviger / komoot / MyRouteApp: ouvrez le GPX et choisissez Import as track pour garder le choix des routes. Ne choisissez Import as route que si vous voulez un recalcul selon votre profil moto.
- Google Maps / Apple Maps: ils ne lisent pas le GPX. Utilisez la carte de cette page ou importez d'abord le fichier dans une application compatible GPX.

Our track is 126 km with about 1,370 m of climbing, roughly 3 to 4 hours of riding without stops. Harz tourism publishes its own motorcycle tours of about 160 to 247 km, ours is a shorter day loop.
Why ride it
Endless forest curves, the half-timbered towns of Wernigerode and Blankenburg, the Bodetal gorge, and the two meeting points Harz tourism itself names for riders: Torfhaus and the Oker reservoir.
Hazards
Busy weekends with lots of bikes and day trippers, deer and wild boar at dawn and dusk, wet leaves and damp shaded forest corners, and speed cameras in the towns.
