Account data: email address, and the nickname, country and avatar you choose to add.

Submission data: the accommodation details, photos, experience text and contact details you send through our forms, plus reviews you write.

Host data: for hosts using our booking engine, room, price and availability data, and guest details attached to bookings.

Technical data: anonymous page visits, referrer, device type and country for basic analytics, plus error reports when something breaks.

To publish and moderate listings and reviews, to run accounts and the host panel, to send transactional emails such as confirmations and outreach replies, and to understand how the site is used so we can improve it.

We send transactional emails related to your account, submissions and bookings. Marketing emails only go to people who opted in, and every one has an unsubscribe link.

We use a cookie banner for optional analytics and marketing scripts. Essential cookies keep you signed in and remember your language.

Data is stored with our hosting and database providers on our behalf. We do not sell personal data. Booking partners receive only what is needed to complete a booking you start.

You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, or ask us to delete your account and submissions.
