A great quieter location if you don't want the busyness of Potes for example. Easy parking right outside. Great bar and restaurant with an excellent breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice. The room we had was clean, basic but functional. Plenty of locals use the bar including a large contingent of Police who were on a training exercise when we were there in May, a very friendly bunch. Also a good location for a ride off to the South and East around the reservoirs if you want a day off from the Picos themselves. Just up the road is a great road (LE-2703) that takes you to Posada de Valdeon where you'll find a lovely village square with a brilliant cafe / bar / restaurant.
