Booking a hotel as a motorcyclist is a guessing game. Will there be somewhere safe to park the bike? Anywhere to dry sodden gear after a day of rain? Will the owner mind a 6am departure?
StayToRide is the rider-curated directory of stays where the answer is yes — recommended and reviewed by the people who actually rode there. Free for riders, forever. No fake reviews, no owner self-promotion, no spam.
Rider-powered growth. Every stay on the map was added by a real rider who stayed there. We don't auto-import listings just to look bigger. As the community grows, so does the map. If you've stayed somewhere great, you're the missing piece.
What "rider-curated" actually means
Every stay on StayToRide is submitted by a verified rider — not by the property owner, not by a marketing team. We ask the submitter to describe in their own words what made the place work for them on a bike: the parking, the drying setup, the welcome at 11pm when they finally arrived soaked.
Then we review it. Then it goes live. Then other riders leave their own reviews after they ride there. No paid ranking — stays are ordered by rider verification, not by who pays us. We do use affiliate booking links, but they never cost you extra and never influence which stays appear or where.
Where we're going
Right now: Europe-first, free, with a live review system and direct booking links so you can plan and reserve a real trip. Next: route suggestions tied to stays and a way to save and share trip plans with other riders.
We're not building this to sell your data or rank listings for cash — we're building it because we needed it ourselves. We do work with a small number of gear and travel partners (ferry and tunnel operators, riding gear, navigation) to keep the site free — those links are always disclosed and never affect what's listed or how it's ranked.
