Staying here is an incredible experience. It’s a stunning 14th-century monastery converted into a hotel, positioned right on the edge of the Chianti wine region. For a rider, the parking setup is highly secure; you roll through the main estate gates into a massive, private inner courtyard/gravel lot that keeps the bikes completely off the public roads. The location is an absolute dream for a riding base—you escape the headache of traffic and tight parking in central Siena, yet you are just minutes away from jumping onto the legendary SR222 Chiantigiana road for some of the best vineyard twisties in Italy. Having a fantastic Tuscan restaurant and cloister bar right inside the walls means you can park up, have a beer, and eat incredible local food without leaving the grounds.

Because this is a beautifully preserved historic monastery, there are no modern elevators in the accommodation blocks, so be prepared to carry your panniers and riding gear up a flight of stone stairs to get to your room. Also, the parking surfaces inside the grounds are traditional Tuscan gravel and stone; it’s flat and perfectly manageable, but just take your time maneuvering heavy cruisers or top-heavy adventure bikes when parking up.
