The S2R note: The road up from Veruša to the katun is paved and technically accessible for all vehicles, but it is a narrow, twisting mountain road that requires your full concentration—especially on a heavy, fully loaded touring bike. Because of its remote location, there are no grocery shops, commercial restaurants, or petrol stations anywhere nearby, so ensure your fuel tank is full and coordinate your meals with Boris in advance (their home-cooked food is incredible anyway).
