Hotel la Sequia Molinar
Rider experience
Nice clean, comfortable & friendly hotel a few km north of Ripoll Bar & restaurant on site, but only a short walk from town if you want to explore. Large and clean underground garage with electric gate. There are some lovely motorcycle routes around this area. We enjoyed our week here.

If you are tracing the curves of the legendary N-260 Eje Pirenaico across the Spanish Pyrenees, Hotel la Sèquia Molinar is a modern, highly strategic oasis. Located just outside Ripoll in the riverside village of Campdevànol, this contemporary stone-clad property completely bypasses narrow town alleys while putting you at the direct intersection of some of the best tarmac corners in Catalonia.
The rider infrastructure is exceptionally smooth. You can drop your kickstand in the flat, open-air lot directly beside the entrance for free, or opt for a spot in their secure subterranean garage to keep your machine hidden completely out of sight. Lugging heavy saddlebags or helmets up to your climate-controlled room is an absolute breeze thanks to the internal passenger lifts. After an intense day wrestling the endless hairpins of the Collada de Toses or exploring the nearby Ribes Valley, the on-site restaurant serves up massive, high-protein traditional mountain dishes that are custom-built for hungry tourers. It is a fantastic, stress-free launching pad before crossing high alpine borders into France or Andorra.

The hotel sits right adjacent to the primary N-260 regional transit vein; while this is perfect for effortless morning departures, rooms facing the front road can catch daytime background traffic hum from passing trucks and other weekend sports tourers—requesting a rear-facing room overlooking the quiet hillside or residential lane is highly recommended for light sleepers. Subterranean garage spaces are highly prized by the two-wheeled community during the peak summer alpine season, so it is smart to message the front desk to reserve an indoor slot prior to your arrival. The hotel has a very clean, crisp, and functional layout rather than a historic or quaint rustic aesthetic. Standard check-in windows open at 14:00 (2:00 PM), and morning departure checkout is required by 12:00 PM (Noon). Domestic pets are not permitted on the property premises.
