It's not cheap and some of the rooms are basic but it's clean and comfortable and amidst loads of great roads. The food (dinner and breakfast) is delicious and they're happy to make you a pack up for lunch. Dave the current owner is a rider himself and goes to the trouble of personally welcoming you as you arrive, and later will not only suggest routes if you don't already have a plan, but will even upload them onto your SatNav! He's a legend. Note. Dave recently announced in the motorcycle press that he is planning to sell up and retire but wants to ensure his legacy is honoured and so is holding out for the right buyers who will continue with the excellent service that the Buccleuch Arms provides.
